Data Scientist – Log Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract meaningful insights from extensive logs generated by our products, including network flows, HTTP data, and policy violation events. This role requires a strong background in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and data analysis techniques.

Role & Responsibility

• Develop and implement models using LLMs to analyze and interpret logs generated by our products.
• Extract actionable insights and trends from network flow data, HTTP data, and policy violation events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business questions and translate them into analytical problems.
• Design experiments and evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics.
• Work closely with engineers to deploy models into production and ensure scalability.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience in applying NLP techniques and machine learning algorithms to large-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-3, BERT) and their applications in data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Previous experience in cybersecurity or related fields – advantage.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) – advantage.
